Description

WHY should you sign up?

The last Prophet of God (pbuh) said, “God will not change the condition of a people until they change themselves…” Muslims need to contribute to all aspects of human civilization, not obsess exclusively over a handful of causes.

WHAT is the objective of the workshop?

To engage the community in advocacy and to get empowered to effectively address the issues that face the Hoosier community on a local and national level.

HOW will the workshop help you?

The workshop is half a day and teaches three critical skills; (1) the in’s and out’s of how government works at all levels, (2) how to talk about the issues that people care about with public officials and the media, and (3) how to promote civil engagement from an Islamic perspective with community members.
